Francine's journey weaves through various LA neighborhoods after immigrating here from the Philippines – from Koreatown to Hollywood, then landing in Atwater Village during high school. After a brief stint away for college at UC Irvine, she returned to LA, settling in El Sereno with her husband and two kids. Amidst the chaos of raising two little ones, she dedicates her time to helping clients buy and sell real estate.
Not just a real estate agent, Francine is a newbie real estate investor with four units: a long-term rental in LA, two in Cleveland, and a short-term rental in the Smokies. The process was much longer and more complex than a typical sale. We first had to wait over six months for our tenant to vacate the property, and then the house needed extensive repairs, updates, and refreshing before it was ready for market. She was also forthcoming about everything, so we never felt blindsided or surprised by anything of buying process. We had a unique situation where we had begun escrow and inspections and our lender dropped out. She helped us to work with the seller to extend escrow until we found a new lender. She was patient and always very responsive to our texts and calls. I met Francine Biton from the L34 Group by chance when I attended an open house a few doors down from where I was staying. I am very much a “why” and “how” person, and since this was my first home purchase I really appreciated that our initial meeting was dedicated entirely to my education, walking me through the entire process from start to finish. Every step along the way she checked in with me to make sure I understood what was going on.
